LONGFORM CASE STUDY

Helping Built Oregon showcase the state’s makers

The challenge

To help launch as a nonprofit supporting the consumer product sector across the state, Built Oregon started with captivating content. Telling stories of the real people behind our state’s most unique brands meant showcasing their history and also looking toward the future.

Approach

I interviewed the founders, CEOs, and teams around a handful of the state’s successful consumer brands, observing scenes and crafting vignettes that helped carry the larger narrative arcs of their brands’ stories.

Results

Compelling copy that brings the subjects to life and reflects their personalities through their homegrown business. Mixing detailed scenes with the mechanics of each brand’s (sometimes bumpy) rise, I showcased craft and determination while underscoring Built’s messaging around the impact of Oregon’s many makers.
